    Product Overview:
    • Personal Information- Input your personal information (height, weight, age, gender), and the software automatically calculates the calories you burn during the day.  Diet & Exercise Assistant will graph your current weight on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.  You can compare your current weight to what is considered normal for your age, gender and height.
    • Establish a Weight Loss Program- Establish a weight loss program by selecting a diet plan and setting weight loss goals.  Input your desired weight and select a target date.  Diet & Exercise Assistant will automatically calculate your daily food budget.
    • Large Food Database - Use the large food database of almost 10,000 food items containing all the nutrient information to track your diet easily.  The food database is configurable and you can add, delete, edit any group, category or food item.  The nutritional information label on the back of most products contains all of the information you need to add a food item to the food database.
    • Popular Restaurants - The food database has food listings for hundreds of popular restaurants and fast food chains.
    • Large Exercise Database - Track your exercise by selecting an activity from a large exercise database.  Input the minutes spent exercising, and Diet & Exercise Assistant will automatically calculate the calories you burned through exercise.
    • Logbook - Use the Logbook to input your exercise and everything you consume each day.  To speed up daily food logging you can create Recipes from a list of food items.  Use the new Favorites folder at the top of the food database for all of your common food items.  Find food items easily with the new search features.  The food database is structured for maximum look-up performance and ease-of-use.
    • Charts and Graphs - Use 15 different charts and graphs to monitor your diet program.  Diet & Exercise Assistant will color daily values in red when you have exceeded your diet plan targets.
    • Summary Tables - Use the Summary and Nutrient tables to quickly summarize the calories and nutrients you have consumed and compare the totals to your diet plan targets.
    • Body Measurements & Blood Pressure - Input body measurements and watch your body shape improve as you reach your weight loss goals.  Estimate your body fat percentage from body measurements.  Input and track your blood pressure with charts and graphs. 
    • Health Tools - Diet & Exercise Assistant calculates your body mass index, waist-to-hip ratio, optimal weight, body fat, etc.  Test your knowledge of healthy eating by taking one of several quizzes.
    • Daily Journal - Use the Daily Journal to input notes while on your diet.
    • Ease of Use - Diet & Exercise Assistant is easy-to-use.  Quick help is available on the handheld for all dieting concepts and nutritional calculations.  With over one million downloads Diet & Exercise Assistant is easily the most popular healthcare product for your mobile device and desktop computer.
    • Optional Desktop Companion - Add the optional desktop companion and synchronize data to your desktop computer.  The desktop companion will automatically backup up your data.  The desktop companion has all of the features of the mobile device product and a whole lot more.  The desktop companion is sold separately.

      This program has helped me so much. I bought it nearly a year ago, but didn't really start using it until 6 months ago. The logbook has been the best feature for me. By being able to look up foods while out to eat or when trying to decide what to eat, I have been able to keep my calorie levels in check. In the past 6 months I have lost 27 pounds and look forward to continuing my weight loss journey with this program on my TX and by my side. Definitely well worth it!

      This is a great product! I like how you can track all aspects of your food intake such as carbs, protein, fat etc. I like the reports and being able to add favorite foods on the fly. My only complaint is I wish instead of having to select "new" and picking a food item you could type it in right on the screen, on the fly, with calories and description. Other then that it is a solid product to calorie counting.

      The software has a lot of visual appeal, easy and intuitive interface, and helpful built-in resources. It did create an "Error 5: Invalid parameter!" issue with Touch Launcher software that lead me to remove the application. There's nothing on the developer's website to indicate a fix, either. It would have gotten 4-5 stars had it not been for this glitch. What a shame... If you're not using the Touch Launcher, this is pretty cool software.

      So far this program has helped me to stay on track and lose 22 lbs in 2 months with little effort! The program helps you to be cognizant of the foods you are eating while learning calorie content--this keeps you honest. Try it--you have a lot to lose!

      It has great potential. The main functionality is the Daily Log Book, where you specify Meals, Basal Metabolic Rate (how much your body burns on a typical day), Excercise, Calorie Reduction Goal. It will then keep a balance of how many calories you have remaining for the day. It is very well structured. However, adding meals is PAINFUL! While it has a huge food database, some of the obvious items aren't on there. For example, American Cheese Slice is not on there -- that's as common as common gets! Instead it does have Brie Slices (have you ever tried to slice Brie? Not exactly the slicing type of cheese). So, I have to add these basic items to the list myself. I would give this product 5 stars if it had a better meals functionality. The great benefit is that this lives on your PDA, so it's probably with you throughout the day and convenient for you to keep track of your diet.

      This is absolutely the best program in the world. For the past 6 years I have yo-yo dieted. With this program my yo-yoing has stopped!! Since Jan.1st (3 months) I have lost 25lbs. I feel great and I know my next 25 will be easygoing. It's not just a diet - it's a lifestyle change. I would totally recommend this program - in fact I have and at least 3 people I know have bought it and 5 more want to!!

      Exceptional Product! It really works. Establish a weight loss program, use it everyday, and you will lose weight. I lost 8 punds in 2 weeks! I know if I stay with Diet

      I hated this product at first! I thought it was confusing and I initially wanted my money back. Now, I can't live without it. This program really helps you stay focused and keep track of your activity. I am 20 pounds less today than I was six weeks ago. It is a great tool for individuals who are motivated and want to loss weight. It does take some getting use to and getting specific meals logged in can be a pain. But overall it is a great tool

      Overall this is a good product, but I found a few features lacking. For example: Daily weight is entered in tenths, not 1/4 lb increments. The historic weight chart shows lbs only, so those little motivational 1/4 lb losses don't show up. Many common foods are missing (like nonfat milk

      My husband and I have been using this product since the beginning of the year, he has lost over 30 pounds and I have lost over 20 and still losing. Knowing what the calories are in the foods you eat, especially restaurant items has been a real eye opener and the key to our success.

      I Purchased this as part of my 07 new years resolution to loose weight and in 6 1/2 months I've lost 35 pounds!! My pda just died and I'm scrambling to get a new one becaue I'll be lost without this program. It really keeps me on track!!

      This program is awesome. It works. Good part there is not monthly fees. Weight yourself daily and record your food. You can even plan meal, enter your owe food creations. I am losing daily.

      Don't wait any longer. I returned from holidays weighing 166 lbs. In despair, I purchased this product. It was easy to use. You can select from different diet methods such as low cal, low carb, etc. After inputting my vital stats and setting my weight loss goals, I decided I could eat anything I wanted. The only rule would be that everything I ate must be 'poked' into palm. Easy to do considering that the database of foods, including fast foods is huge. I lost only 2 or 3 lb the first month. After that, 5 or more lb. per month. You get to choose how fast or slow you want to do it. I wasn't hungry and didn't suffer. When meal recording feels like a video game, you'll do it. The reason this program works is that since you must record it all, and you have a big food database in front of you, you'll say, hmm, I wonder if I can stay inside my goal boundaries if I have a piece of toast and jam instead of Chocolate cake. It works. 25 lb. later I have the figure I wanted. I started in Sept.
